BUSINESS DEBIT CARD
- What is required when applying for a Business Debit Card?
- Will the card be named under the 'business name' or the 'person
it is issued to'?
- How many cards can be issued per company?

What is required when applying for a Business Debit Card?
- A Business Checking Account must be in an active status and reflect appropriate
account handling for not less than 45 days.
- The party applying for the Business Debit Card must be specified on the Account
Resolution with Signing Authority.
- The party applying must know how many cards are needed; as well as, dollar
limitations for purchases and/or ATM usage (if applicable).

Will the l card be named under the 'business name' or the 'person' it is
issued to?
Both... Each card will have two Name Lines. Line one will display the Company Name,
two lists the Cardholder's Name.

How many cards can be issued per company?
Six (6) cards may be issued per business entity.

PINs be the same?
No... Both the card number and associated PIN will be unique for each cardholder.

Is there a 'per card' or 'general' fee to use Business Debit Card?
No... There is not a 'per card' or 'general' fee to use our Debit Card; however,
other fees may apply.
Network Fee: a fee charged by STAR when accessing your Farmers'
account at an ATM that is not using the STAR Network.
Surcharge: a fee that institutions (other than Farmers) charge for the use
of their ATM when your company 'is not' one of their account/card holders.
Service Charge: a 'per transaction fee' which Farmers charges for the use of
ATMs at other banks, that are serviced within the STAR Network.
Business Debit Card Fees:
- ATM Use: At Farmers' ATMs -- NO FEE
Another Institution's ATM -- Your company may receive a Surcharge from that institution;
as well as, an additional Service Charge from Farmers.
- Purchases: NO FEES are incurred for using your company's Debit Card at merchant
locations that accept VISA for goods and services.

Can we control the dollar limit for purchases?... for ATM withdrawals?
Yes... The party applying for the Business Debit Card will designate purchase and withdrawal
limits during the application process. The maximum dollar limit for either may not exceed
$5,000 per 24 hour period.

I do not want my employees to be able to withdraw money from ATMs... can they
be restricted to 'purchases only'?
Yes... The party applying for the Business Debit Card will specify which card users have
the authority to make ATM withdrawals.

What types of accounts can be accessed using a Business Debit Card?
Account accessibility is restricted to Business Checking Accounts.
Sole Proprietorships: Upon meeting the Checking Account ownership requirement, a
Statement Savings may be added to the card's accessibility.

Our business checking requires 2 signatures on checks... How does this affect
Debit Card use?
A New Business Resolution must be completed. The new resolution must authorize that
the account linked to the Business Debit Card can be accessed using only one signature
or unique PIN. (Business Checks or Drafts may still require two signatures.)
