What Does It Do?
Farmers National Bank is pleased to offer the Common Sense Card. It
has every feature of an ATM card, plus you can use it just like a check.
In fact, the Common Sense Card is a VISA debit card; it is not a credit
card. The Common Sense Card accesses your Farmers National Bank checking
account. Once your checking account is linked to a Common Sense Card,
you may also request that your statement savings account be added for
card access.
Where Can I Use It?
Using a PIN number just as you would with an ordinary ATM card, you
can use your Common Sense Card at any STAR or PLUS machine. But, even
better, you can use it as a check card at the more than 12 million business
where VISA is accepted.
How Does it Work?
With your Common Sense Card, you directly access your checking account without the expense and
inconvenience of writing a check. (No checkbook or other ID is necessary.)
The amount of your purchase
will be automatically deducted from your checking balance. Simply keep your receipts for record purposes
and mark purchases in your checkbook to update your balance. Purchases will also be noted on your checking
account statement. Additionally, for those qualified, a Farmers National Bank Instaline can provide
overdraft protection and a source of credit line funds just by using your check card.*
